RUSSIAN EXPORTERS ENHANCE BUSINESS TIES WITH KAZAKHSTAN
From 4 to 6 March, 2020 the business mission of Irkutsk region, the Republic of Khakassia and Saratov region to the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Nur-Sultan. Russian delegation comprised of nine export-oriented companies willing to enter the market of the largest Central Asian country.The business mission was aimed at conducting bilateral B2B talks between Russian exporters and potential buyers of their products in Kazakhstan. The business mission program was organized by the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Exporters
During the B2B meetings the entrepreneurs from Irkutsk region introduced to foreign partners both solutions for agriculture (humic acid fertilizers, special machinery and soil treatment equipment), and snacks (cookies, crackers and rusks). The Saratov region delegation acquainted local industrial and trade companies with oil and gas equipment, plastic articles and mushroom growing equipment. The Republic of Khakassia’s export potential was represented by manufacturers of confectionary, chocolate, timber and cut lumber.
Each business mission participant held at least five negotiations with relevant Kazakhstan enterprises. As a result of negotiations one export agreement and two letters of intent were signed. Besides, Russian and Kazakhstan are going to continue the discussion of future cooperation, including the possibility of product testing and first shipments.
